The BSc Diagnostic Radiography course at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» (which is taught from Bangor’s Wrexham Campus) will equip you with a unique mix of technology and people skills that will make you highly employable. You will learn not only about how x-rays are produced and the anatomy of the human body, but also how to talk to people and what sort of things patients/service users may be concerned about.

You’ll spend approximately 50% of your time out in clinical departments working alongside qualified staff and examining patients ensuring your learning is of the highest quality and reflects modern medical practice. Placements are available for you across North Wales with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and in some surrounding NHS trusts. Academic modules have reoccurring themes around Practice of Radiography, Science of Radiography, evaluation of practice and reflection. You’ll also study with other health professionals in an inter-professional module which gives you an insight into the practice and priorities in other areas developing you as a team player able to play a key role in clinical settings.
