Lectureship in E

Mr Arwyn Roberts

Overview

I am the Course Director for Childhood and Youth Studies, Assessment Lead, and Co-Director of Teaching and Learning   (a role I share with Emma Bishop). I am an experienced participatory research specialist working with children and young people aged 7–25, helping to increase their participation in—and influence over—decisions that affect their lives. I am a co-creator of Children as Researchers (Funky Dragon, 2009). I joined Swansea University’s Observatory on the Human Rights of Children and Young People in October 2014, having previously worked for Funky Dragon—the Children and Young People’s Assembly for Wales—since 2007. I have been teaching at the North Wales School of Education since 2017, and I also lead on marketing for the school.
