I am currently a PhD researcher interested in how anthropogenic disturbance shapes health in wild primates. My research focuses on the relationship between disturbance and gastrointestinal parasite infections in Zanzibar red colobus monkeys.
I aim to understand how ecological and behavioural processes drive infection dynamics in this endangered species. To do this, my work combines microscopic and molecular parasite identification, field-based behavioural observation, and environmental monitoring.
