"Design of products is something that I was very keen to study, but I didn't realise it was a specific discipline. When I found the course and Bangor, it was a perfect fit. 

What made my time at Bangor special was the approachable staff; real-life briefs; multiple industry placement opportunities were a highlight, plus a great course cohort. Bangor offered a wide variety of support for all aspects of the degree course. This was combined with many opportunities to take part in programmes, courses and classes that developed additional skills, both personal and professional. 

I currently work at Welcome Furniture as a Lead Designer, which involves receiving a design brief and creating a product offering that provides the highest value for the client and organisation; along with producing photography, written and video media for proposals and brochures. There is also an element of problem-solving production issues encountered with new designs. 

My time at Bangor provided me with the ability to manage tight time frames and large quantities of work, as well as the confidence and ability to discuss a range of topics with new and well known people."
